shoot{ing} with scott.

Scott and his wife Steph are two of my most favorite people in the whole entire universe. They are both unbelievable artists, amazing friends, and they’re both especially amusing. Stephanie’s voice is what angels sound like and she is a super talented writer. Scott is a crazy talented director. His ideas seem to flow like water… it seems as though he has this never-ending-pent-up-creative-idea reservoir. I love working with him. So when he asks me to help him out with a project, I say: yes, when, and where.

One of the projects Scott asked me to help out with was a series of videos he shot for the Good Friday Services at Heartland Community Church. Every year Good Friday is an incredible service, and the addition of these videos really set the tone of the evening. Each scene was used kind of like chapter divider in a movie. Scott had the vision for the shoot. He picked all of the locations, shot & edited the footage. {He totally nailed the color correction, didn’t he?!}. I did the calligraphy for the titles, which of course I love to do. But my favorite part of this shoot was definitely styling the table for the last scene.

You can check out some of Scott Zibell’s other projects on his vimeo page here. Want more? I promise you’ll be inspired by Scott’s blog, Imaging Windows, and overall inspired by he and Steph’s lives | Story Unfold.

Whatever you’re doing today, wherever you’re at, I hope you have someone in your life that inspires you. xx, linds
