There is a new girl in town! Let me introduce Livvy, the newest addition to the stamps in the Lindsay Letters Shop.

While I love handwritten text, there’s nothing quite better than pairing it with a good typeface. I think this little bit of sass is just what the current stamp collection needed. If you like Livvy, add her to your collection today! *SHOP!*
Okay! I’ve kept you waiting long enough. Since I promised you our Northernly giveaway winner on Friday and you’re getting it today, and since it seems like I have super fashionable readers that really love these scarves (you all totally inspired me!), I’m going to give away TWO of Northernly’s Nautical Striped Infinity Scarf. Yay! Thanks to, our lucky winners are: CAROLE & ELIZABETH! Congratulations, ladies! I know you will love them. (p.s. I’ve emailed both of you to get us your shipping addresses.) If you missed out this time, Keri promised to let me know when she has more back in stock. Thanks to everyone who entered! I’d like to start featuring a giveaway once a month so keep checking back. xo, l

When Keri, accessories designer and owner of Northernly, asked me to illustrate her brand identity, of course I checked out her shop. And I immediately fell in love with her nautical striped infinity scarf. [And I’m sure you will too!] This will be the perfect transition-to-fall accessory.
So I set to work sketching her logo for her, and then promptly ordered myself a scarf. When I received the scarf in the mail, even though it was 104 degrees, I put it on right away and loved it even more. The scarf has the most buttery, beautiful texture. I will wear this scarf on a date and then leave it on to curl up on the couch afterwards. As is the trend, there are a variety of striped scarves out there, but I love the softness and the super subtle texture on the white stripe.
And so, because I think this scarf is so rad, I want to introduce my very first
To enter, submit a comment telling me how you’d wear this scarf. A winner will be chosen at random this Friday. And even if you’re not the lucky lady, do not dismay! Northernly is offering a 15% discount to all Lindsay Letters readers! Just enter code: LETTERS at checkout. So go on over to the Northernly Shop and check out all of the fun (get ready for fall) cozy things. The Aztec Infinity Scarf and the Heather Grey Infinity Scarf are the next 2 on my list! Happy Monday! xo, L

I am so, so incredibly blessed. Truly, I try not to take a single moment of getting to do exactly what I love for granted. Although I love it all, there are some projects in my career that I would consider glittering highlights, and my work with 31 Bits is definitely one of those! Oh. My. Goodness. A dream come true. 31 Bits is an amazing organization, started by a handful of friends wanting to make a difference with their one and only lives (and who also appreciate the art of accessorizing). In short, the 31 Bits team works with women in Northern Uganda to help design and sell their fabulous beadwork made primarily out of paper. Awesome, right?! You can read more about 31 bits and their mission here. Early this summer, 31 Bits launched a new boutique wedding line called You Are My Happy, and I am the lucky girl that got to do the calligraphy for the campaign. Check out the beautiful jewelry!
Gosh, that styling is spot on. Stripes, mint, red lips… I could stare at that effortless top knot all day long. Here are a few more photos from the collection. Aren’t those gold flecks beautiful!
Pretty pretty pretty. How sweet would it be to wear one of these pieces on your wedding day–an accessory representing a new beginning for you and a woman on the other side of the world. Of course, you wouldn’t have to be a bride to wear these. I picked up the woven delight necklace… and the bracelets, because I simply couldn’t help myself! It was such a pleasure to work with Jessie at 31 Bits, and an honor to be a part of the amazing creative team!

I just recently received my new iPhone case in the mail! I illustrated the artwork, then uploaded it and had my case custom made. I love the way it looks, but after dropping the phone a few times (of course), I’m not super thrilled with the durability of the case. However, I’m going to keep on researching some more durable options and hopefully keep you posted with a phone case available for purchase. The joy of life! xo, l

Sharon @ Granola Meets Grits - Your case is SO cute! What a neat idea to personalize it with your lettering.

I’m not sure where you ordered yours from or if you have already tried this brand, but my husband and I both have Case-Mate “Tough” cases and mine has survived a few drops off the treadmill and such. I know they offer custom design, but not sure what the specifics are in terms of file types they accept or anything like that. Anyway, maybe you have already seen them, but thought I would throw that out there in case it gives you a lead!

Love your beautiful lettering you share here on your blog- could look at your art and style all day! Glad to have come across you!ReplyCancel
