Hey hey! D and I are watching our third (THIRD) Christmas movie of the evening, and I wanted to share a fun new find with you. Have you discovered Emma Magazine yet? You must. I’m already waiting with much anticipation for the next issue! The whole concept of the magazine is “if Martha were a 20-something…” It’s a magazine “For city mamas, nesting newlyweds, and budding entrepreneurs. Chock full of easy DIYs, dinner party printables, and design advice from crafty business owners.” Yes, please. What’s more, the Lindsay Letters Peace on Earth canvas was chosen to be a part of their Holiday Guide. Yay!!!

So, grab some egg nog, cozy up, and check out Emma. You’ll be glad you did, I promise! And if we don’t meet before then, have a very very Merry Christmas!!! xo, L

Hey friends! This month is absolutely flying by! I just wanted to give you a heads up to let you know that Sunday, December 16th is the last day that you can order from the Shop! and get guaranteed delivery by Christmas.

I have love love LOVED seeing all of your Gilded Greetings photos come in – what fun!!! And it’s been so fun to see how they turn out. From hilarious to classic and everything in between, it’s awesome to see how you all are making them your own. If you’re interested in sending holiday cards but aren’t into photo cards, check out the Holiday Mini Prints. Lots of stationers don’t sell cards in very high quantities, but these packs are sold in sets of up to 25 cards – plenty enough to share the love with everyone card-worthy in your life!

If you’re already looking on to 2013, we have a Gilded Greetings design, an Art Print, and a Mini Print that are sure to help you ring in the new year in style. (The print would make an excellent hostess gift!)

I hope your December is treating you well! I’m trying my hardest to live in the moment, (while the back of my brain is swirling with Valentines!). xo, L

First, the Shop! is back up and running. Praise Jesus! Now back to business…

I can’t even begin to count the amount of emails I’ve received over the past year asking me to create a canvas with the lyrics to the old hymn Come Thou Fount. You guys LOVE it! And so do I. I grew up hearing this song in church, and fell back in love with it when my friend Jes sang it at Steve & Cait’s wedding. It’s such a beautiful song, and there is something so familiar and yet still so fresh about it.

For those of you who haven’t heard this song, I enlisted the vocal stylings of my handsome hubby and my lovely sister-in-law Breeze (when Breeze isn’t serenading us, she is also keeping track of all your orders at the shop!). So here is a little Come Thou Fount for you. In my Mother-in-law’s living room, after decorating the tree. I did not edit this video, so be patient – a song is coming, I promise.

Beautiful, no? (Seriously, that’s like the 3rd time they’d sung that song… ever). There are so many parts of this song worth illustrating, so there could very possibly be more canvases to come, but for now I figured I’d just start here.

I am really happy with the way it turned out – all swoopy and relaxed, but still pretty. I hope you guys love it as much as I loved creating it. It would be an amazing Christmas gift to yourself or someone you love. The canvases are large, 24 x 30 inch pieces. They’re gallery wrapped and really create a nice presence in the room – a true piece of art. Click here to check it out! (Oh, it’s also available as a print, too!) xo, L

p.s. so thrilled to have this piece featured on The Nesting Place today!

Hey everyone! Just a quick note to say that if you’ve tried to go to lindsayletters.com today and it’s not letting you, or you’re getting an error message, it’s not just you or your computer. It seems some things in the domain set up weren’t communicating correctly between servers and other stuff I don’t understand. Anyway, I fixed it but now it could take up to 48 hours for the world wide web to remember that my little shop exists. (Gah! You’d think for something so speedy, this would be a much faster process). So anyway, thank you for visiting and please sit tight! It should be up and running any time now. By the weekend at the latest! Just to say thanks for your patience, once the site is up, enter code WHOOPS at checkout for $5 off any order of $20 more until Monday. peace, love, and fingers crossed!, L

It’s official!: After TONS of hard work (including the awesome work of Margot Harrington & Zak Hardage, the two most patient, optimistic, accommodating and creative people I could have asked for to design & develop my site) THE LINDSAY LETTERS SHOP IS OPEN!!!! I would LOVE it if you would stop by and check it out. I hope you enjoy everything as much as I have enjoyed creating it! (I’ll be continuing to add things to the Shop so subscribe to the mailing list if you’d like to get updates! Next on the agenda? More canvases–just in time for weekend-after-Thanksgiving decorating! Happy weekend!) xo, L
